Patricia began
her studies at the age of seven with Manuel Carra at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid where she obtained the highest qualifications possible. She has been chosen three times to
represent her country in the International Steinway Festival in Hamburg, Berlin and Madrid.
She continued her studies in Fiesole, Italy with Maria Tipo and in Amsterdam with Jan Wijn.
Countless first prizes in national and international competitions are evidence of the
appreciation and recognition of her exceptional musical talent.
Concerts of Patricia de la Vega in important venues in Europe (among others the Auditorium
National Madrid, Musikhalle Hamburg, Philharmonie Berlin, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, de
Doelen Rotterdam and Gulbenkian Lissabon) are praised by both press and audience for her
warm, original personality, embodied in conscientious, sincere and deeply felt interpretations.
As a soloist, she performed with orchestras like Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, Orquesta de la
Radio Televisión Española, Orquesta Andrés Segovia, Il Palpiti Chamber Orchestra,
Camerata Catania, Het Zeeuws Orkest and with conductors Vjekoslav Sujej, Pedro Halffter,
Jussi Jatinen, Joan Berkhemer, Edward Schmieder and Adrian Leaper (Mendelssohn nr.1,

concerto from her teacher Manuel Carra in the Auditorio National in Madrid under the
direction of Jose Ramon Encinar and in 2016 she made a live recording of Beethoven 4th piano concerto, with Mokum Symphony orchestra, conducted by Joan Berkhemer.
Apart of her activities as a soloist, she is very devoted chamber music partner and she
performs regularly with renowned musicians in countries as The Netherlands, Germany,
Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia and Rumania.
Her pedagogical skills and her enthusiasm to pass on her experience and vision make
her a widely appreciated masterclass teacher.
